Umar Bhat spokesman JKCNGEEU also said employment rights of various daily wagers whose permanent employment is secured by the SRO-381 of the JKPDD government of Jammu and Kashmir. However, it is a welcome decision of government on part of the state administration to involve in recruitment of these vacant posts that are otherwise reserved for the daily rated employees, who are working ruthlessly with the state force to ensure smooth and efficient of power supply to both consumers and state establishments.

Furthermore, spokesperson JKCNGEEU also stressed upon the appalling conditions of these daily rated workers who under these circumstances of COVID-19 are left unpaid for several months. They urge all employees and workers and especially daily rated workers to continue their resistance struggle for the insurance of formal orders of regularization of services which had been already cleared by respective DPC’s in 2019.
