JKCPRS holds Session for SSRB, PSC and Civil Service aspirants

J&K Centre for Peace, Research and Sustainable Development in Collaboration with J&K Students Association here on tuesday conducted a virtual interactive session for students of Jammu and Kashmir who are preparing for various competitive exams which include UPSC, JKPSC and other recently advertised posts of JKSSB, under Tittle *How to master the knack of JKSSB, Civil Services aspirants, with Meraj Wani (KAS-2012). 

The session was attended by UPSC, JKPSC and JKSSB aspirants. Apart from them young students also have joined the session. Mehraj wani (KAS-2012) talked about the strategy to Crack different competitive exams. All the aspects including the scheme and pattern of the exam, approach for prelims and mains, sources of material and the books required, use of online sources and the relevance of newspaper reading in preparing the current affairs and writing test series for both prelims and mains were covered thoroughly and to the satisfaction of the students.

He shared his experience about the competitive with aspirants, Besides he casted light on how aspirants should approach different competitive exams. He ingeminated that along with handwork, the employment of smart work in equally important, besides, he assured aspirants that he will be always at the disposal aspirants. The session was followed by a question answer session, in which, aspirants posed different questions to the guest. 

Speaking on the occasion Meraj said that dedication, commitment and passion are critical to crack any kind of competitive exam. He said that Aspirants should devote quality time to prepare for competitive exams and should add to their knowledge base by understanding the syllabus and thoroughly preparing all the components. He further urged aspirants to put extra efforts in order to fulfill and achieve their dreams. The aspirants should not skip preparing from books at the cost of online material available on the internet, he added. 

National Spokesperson J&K Students Association Nasir Khuehami said, ”This session was conducted in view of guiding the marginalized and poor students, who are fully competent to crack the any competitive exams, but don’t succeed for lack of guidance. In future, we have plans to conduct many more sessions for our students, in order to guide and mentor students”. He extended his gratitude to Mehraj wani for gracing the virtual interactive session with his presence. 

Additional Spokesperson of the Association Ummar Jamal said, “students of J&K are highly intelligent and competent, however, there is lack of guidance to students. Such sessions are highly important not only to guide the aspirants to crack the competitive exams, but they also galvanize young students to go in this direction. This year no candidate from Kashmir was able to qualify UPSC CSE, which is quite disappointing. Kashmiri students should be believe in themselves and more and more students should appear in UPSC examination. This session was an attempt keeping that end in mind.” he added. 

General Secretary of J&K Students Association Danish Lone said that, JKCPRS and JKSA have jointly planned a series of seminars, webinars and interactions with the IAS officers, JKAS officers and various subject experts. He said the aim of organizing such sessions is to provide guidance to the aspirants regarding the preparations for
