J&K Students Association here on Sunday thanked Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for announcing one time age relaxation and extending the last date for submission of online application forms for the aspirants who are going to take part in the recruitment of sub-inspectors in Jammu and Kashmir Police.  In a Statement Spokesperson of Jammu and Kashmir Students Association Nasir Khuehami said, we expressed gratitude and sincere thanks for Lieutenant Governor for taking matter seriously and resolved it on priority basis.

Earlier Matter was taken up with Lieutenant Govenor and JKSSB chairman was directed to open the Portal. This will provide great relief to unemployed youth of J&K.  Khuehami said, Lieutenant Governor have paid its valuable attention towards the SI Aspirants who are going to take part in the recruitment of sub-inspectors in Jammu and Kashmir Police. A notification was issued and requisitioned by home department formally for enhancement of maximum age limit for posts of Sub-inspectors.

The decision is totally in favour of SI. The move comes as a big sigh of relief for people during these tough times of competition, he said.  Sudents Association highlighted and vigorously pursuing the matter with the J&K government and today that it yielded desired results. Application portal is open now and the candidates falling in the upper-age limit of 30 can now submit their forms with ease and enthusiasm, he added.
