JKTDC’s assistant manager passes away

Employees of Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation (JKTDC) and Tourism department have condoled the demise of assistant manager of the corporation, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah who passed away on Thursday morning after suffering heart attack.
The employees of JKTDC and Tourism department held a condolence meeting and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Former MD of JKTDC, Aziz Wani while condoling Shah’s demise said his death has created a void in JKTDC. “During my tenure, he was instrumental in organising big functions. He has great managerial qualities,” Wani said.
Former MD of JKTDC GN Qasba said Shah was one of the dedicated and most creative officers of JKTDC. “We started many projects on innovative foods with him. May he rest in peace,” he said.
“He was more than a colleague to us. His company was cherishable because of his friendly behaviour. A true professional in hospitality sector he was born for the trade and had developed a huge network of friends and well wishers beyond the arena of Tourism and hospitality sector,” said Shahnawaz Shah, manager marketing SKICC. “We worked together in numberless Tourism promotion marts and food festivals across the country. His guest handling and professional etiquette’s were exceptional.”
