JNV Hatbara designated as 400 bedded COVID Care Center DC inspects availability of logistics & allied facilities

GANDERBAL, MAY 16 2020

District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today visited JNV Hatbara, designated COVID Care center and took stock of the availability of logistics and other allied facilities being put in place for inmates.

On the occasion, the DC visited 400 bedded COVID care Centre and inspected the facilities being put in place including logistics, electricity, sanitation, availability of personal hygiene gears, bedding, and health care facilities besides other related arrangements.

He exhorted upon the concerned to ensure all the facilities are as per SOP laid down for COVID Care Centers, especially maintaining social distance to prevent the spread of corona virus.

The DC also gave necessary instructions for ensuring hassle-free stay of inmates and stressed the officers to ensure greater coordination at all levels so that adequate arrangements and logistics work smoothly.

Later DDC also visited the Girls Hostel Gadoora, designated as Administrative quarantine and reviewed the facilities being provided to the inmates who have recently returned from the other districts and foreign countries.

He also interacted with inmates who appeared satisfied with facilities and appreciated the administration for providing hygienic and healthy eatables besides other essential facilities.

The DDC was accompanied by ADC, Farooq Ahmad Baba, ACR Ganderbal, CMO Ganderbal, Tehsildar Tulmulla and others concerned.
