Media men from Pulwama and Shopian districts of south Kashmir today visited the family of their incarcerated colleague, Kamran Yousuf, in Tahab area of Pulwama.

Kamran has been under detention with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in New Delhi.

The journalists, working with different organisations, met Kamran’s mother and assured her that the fraternity stood behind her son and the family in these testing times.

“We have been doing everything within our power to ensure justice is done to Kamran and he gets released sooner than later,” the media men said.

They also told Kamran’s mother that every media person is her son and she need not to worry about anything.

The delegation spent more than an hour at their colleagues house.
