JRL calls for shutdown on Monday

Srinagar, Oct 7, Kashmir Pen :   Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Dr Mohammad Omer Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik, Saturdaycalled for a shutdown on October 9, Monday against braid chopping incidents in state.

Commenting over the incessant braid chopping the JRL said that it is a well thought out conspiracy and added that it is a big challenge for us as dignity of women folk is at stake. They appealed people to observe complete shutdown against humiliation meted to women.

Let us convey a message to these miscreants that in no way we will give up our resistance and will pursue the right to self-determination movement , said JRL.

Appealing people, the leaders maintained that unity and steadfastness is need of the hour and while making every such mischievous ploy a failure, we will pursue mission till its logical end, said JRL.
