Srinagar, June 26: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party President Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari on Friday underscored the enduring significance of Youm-e-Ashura, asserting that the occasion serves as a powerful reminder to uphold truth and resist oppression at all costs.
In a statement issued here, the Apni Party chief paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Karbala, led by Imam Hussain (AS), describing their supreme sacrifice as an eternal beacon of courage and unwavering commitment to justice.
“The Shuhada-e-Karbala set an unparalleled example by standing firm against tyranny and the enemies of Islam.
Their sacrifice was not merely an event of the past but a timeless lesson for humanity,” Bukhari said.
He emphasised that the legacy of Imam Hussain (AS) continues to inspire people across generations to speak truth to power and champion the cause of justice, regardless of the challenges.
