The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today expressed serious concern over the shortage of essential commodities in Karnah (Kupwara), urging the Administration to allow movement of trucks from Srinagar to Karnah to mitigate the genuine demands concerning people of Karnah.

Congress leader Prof. Danish Jehangir has urged the Government to ensure supply of essentials in Karnah, Keran and other hilly areas in Kupwara district, expressing serious concern over shortage of essential Commodities and urged the Government to allow trucks from Srinagar to Karnah, so that the adequate supply reaches to Karnah, which is far off place and deserves immediate attention of the Administration.

Prof. Danish Jehangir also sought free ration to BPL families and labour class of Karnah, who have no means of livelihood due to sudden lockdown.

Congress leader urged the Lt. Governor Administration to ensure supply of essentials and other required basic facilities concerning people of Karnah and other hilly areas in Kupwara District.
