Srinagar, Nov 30: The Kashmir Care Foundation (KCF) convened its second Annual Meeting yesterday at the Institution of Engineers (IEI), Srinagar, bringing together a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, community leaders, supporters, and well-wishers.

The event began with opening remarks from Dr. Aamir Nazir, followed by a welcome address from Chairman Er. Firdous Ahad Bhat. Eminent personalities, including Zareef Ahmad Zareef (via video message) and Dr. Upendra Kaul, delivered keynote remarks highlighting the role of community-driven initiatives in health, education, and empowerment.
Dr. Tanzila Mukhtar presented an overview of KCF’s progress and initiatives over the past year, while other speakers, including Dr. Mir Zahoor Gul and Ms. Sabba Haji, spoke on mentorship and youth leadership.

One of the key highlights of the programme was the release of manuals on mental wellness, introduced by a panel comprising Dr. Mushtaq Margoob, Dr. Ashraf Ganai, Dr. Mir Zahoor Gul, and Mr. Baba Nazrul Islam.
A thought-provoking fire-chat session titled “KCF Futures: It Is About All of Us” featured Dr. Khurshid ul Islam and Dr. Altaf Lal, emphasizing sustainable growth, collaboration, and the Foundation’s roadmap ahead.

The ceremony also included KCF Awards presented to contributors and supporters for their efforts and commitment towards the organisation’s mission.
The meeting concluded with an open discussion moderated by Dr. Aamir Nazir, followed by high tea and continued deliberations in a warm, engaging environment.
