Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute Habbak bagged First and Second position in War of Words Asian Parliamentary Debate Competition – 2021.

War of Words Asian Parliamentary Debate Competition – 2021 was organised by School of Law University of Kashmir in collaboration with God’s Lap (NGO) at School of Law, University of Kashmir Hazartbal Srinagar from 11th April to 13th April 2021.

The Aspirants of Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute participated in the competition and two teams of the school made it to the final round. The winners impressed one and all by their argumentation skills, team work and sharp perspective. The management of KHEI congratulated all the three teams namely, Team 1 (Aliza Altaf, Abina Arshad and Basit Bashir), Team 2 (Syana Warsi, Minaam Wajahat and Ibrahim Ahanger) and Team 3 (Mohammad Wasim Mir, Niman Iqbal and Mannan Aijaz)

Miss Aliza Altaf of 12th Class was adjudged as the best speaker in the finale while as Miss Abina Arshid of Class 12th was declared as the best speaker in semi-final round.

The second-best speaker awards were bagged by Ibrahim Ahanger (9th Class). The rest of the participants namely Syana Warsi (9th Class), Minaam Wajahat (9th Class), Ibrahim Ahanger (9th Class), Basit Bashir (9th Class) , Mohammad Waseem Mir (9th Class), Niman Iqbal (9th Class) and Manan Aijaz (9th Class) exhibited their oratory skills, debating expertise and on spot argumentation adeptness. Hon’ble Chairman, Mr. Tariq Ahmad Baktoo felicitated the above debaters and congratulate them and their mentors namely, Mr. Nazir Sofi and Mr. Mushtaque Barq who guided them to achieve this feat.
