Srinagar, Sep 16 : Asserting that Kashmir dispute is the reason for political uncertainty in the subcontinent, the Democratic Freedom Party on Saturday said all issues are to be resolved through dialogue.
A DFP spokesperson in a statement issued to press said if other issues of the world are resolved through dialogue then what stops the world leadership from resolving the longstanding issue of Kashmir.
He said the Democratic Freedom Party’s incarcerated chairman Shabir Ahmad Shah has always championed for resolving the Kashmir dispute through dialogue and has strived for it his whole life.
The spokesperson made it clear that the main reason for the continuous political uncertainty and instability in the subcontinent is thr lingering issue of Kashmir. He said if all the stakeholders of this dispute sit on table and find a solution, they can save the huge budget which they spend on defence procurement.
The spokesperson while expressing deep grief over the sad plight of Rohingya Muslims whoare being persecuted by Myanmar government said the world powers are paying only lip service and have leftthe Rohingya Muslims at the mercy of situation.
He urged the world bodies including UN, OIC and human rights organisations to play their part in this regard.
The party also expressed satisfaction over the honourable return of Bar Association president Mian Abdul Qayoom from Delhi and said his services to movement and society are examplary and hidden from none.
