The Planning and Development Department on Thursday extended warm congratulations to the Director General of Economics and Statistics, Satvir Kour Sudan, on her nomination for the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Honesty, Integrity & Meritorious Public Service for the year 2024.
“This award recognizes the officer’s exemplary dedication, integrity, and outstanding public service, which have significantly contributed to the progress and development of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir,” a statement of the department said.
The statement was issued during a meeting held under the chairmanship of Syed Musadiq Qadri, Planning Officer, at the Srinagar headquarters. It was attended by several officers and middle-rung officials. During the meeting, the officials described the acknowledgement of Sudan’s work as recognition of her efforts made for the transparency and growth of the department.
