Jammu, 16 January: A delegation of migrant Kashmiri Pandit refugees from Jammu and Kashmir met with Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh today.
The meeting, held in Jammu, also saw the presence of MP Jugal Kishore, Jammu MLA Dilip Singh Parihar, Shakti Singh Parihar, MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia, and BJP Delhi State President Virendra Sachdeva.
The delegation apprised the officials of their ongoing struggles and issues faced by Kashmiri Pandits and refugees living in Delhi. Dr. Jitendra Singh, along with the attending MPs and MLAs, assured the delegation that their concerns would be addressed promptly.
Senior BJP leader Pandit Pitambar Sharma, who led the Kashmiri Pandits from Jammu, expressed hope for swift resolution.
Other prominent figures present included BJP leader Guruji Raju Chandel, Sanjay Shroff, Bhushan Lal Raina, Sushil Hans, Priyank Gupta, Vinod Kaul, Anjali Pandit, and Ashok Pandit.
MP Jugal Kishore acknowledged the long-standing grievances of Kashmiri Pandits and emphasized his commitment to resolving these issues in collaboration with the Governor of Delhi.
BJP Delhi State President Virendra Sachdeva assured the gathering that efforts would be made to ensure that Kashmiri Pandits in Delhi receive their rightful support and solutions to their problems.
The delegation of Kashmiri Pandits extended heartfelt gratitude to the ministers, MPs, and MLAs, particularly appreciating the leadership of MP Jugal Kishore Sharma and Guruji Raju Chandel in raising their concerns at a higher level.
