Kathua railway station renamed as ‘Martyr Captain Sunil Kumar Choudhary Kathua station’

Jammu, July 18: Kathua Railway Station in Jammu Division has been officially renamed as Martyr Captain Sunil Kumar Choudhary Kathua Railway Station.

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh announced the decision on X, saying it was taken on popular public demand.

Northern Railway has issued a circular stating that with immediate effect the name of Kathua Railway Station has been changed.

Other details of Kathua Railway Station in official railway records will remain unchanged.

The name change has been approved by Northern Railway and DRM Jammu.
