The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 started with roll-over contestant Deeksha Kumari, a 14-year old student from Madhubani, Bihar. In her introduction video, Deeksha shared that she wants to be an IAS officer and was also seen having a fun time with her brother.
He teases Deeksha and calls her his brother and not sister. Later, host Big B pulled Deeksha’s brother’s leg and asked him why he called Deeksha his brother and replied saying that because of her haircut.
She feels proud that she was born in a family which gives emphasis on studies. During her conversation with Big B, Deeksha’s mother praised the legendary actor for working so hard even at this age.
Deeksha also shared with Big B that she is scared of the expectations people have from her.Mr. Bachan also shared that even though he is scared of expectation and often while travelling to work, he thinks what the audience might be expecting from him.
Deeksha used her second lifeline ‘Video Call A Friend’ and successfully managed to win 80,000 points. She used her third lifeline ‘Flip The Question’ on Sachin Tendulkar. Deeksha won 3,20,000 points and then complained to Big B that his brother teases her by calling her Monty Panesar as she is healthy.
Deeksha used her fourth lifeline ‘Ask the Expert’ for the 6,40,000 points question which was: Which layer of the atmosphere is rich in Ozone? The answer for the same was: Stratosphere.
Deekhsa, who studies in eight standard won 6,40,000 points and decided to quit the game post that. She was unable to answer the question for 12,50,000 points. The question was: In 1995, who became the winner of first ever Filmfare R D Burman Award for New Music Talent? The answer was R.D Burman.
After Deeksha made an exit, host Big B played a new round of ‘Fastest Finger First’. 15-year-old Priya Kour from Srinagar was the one to make it to the hot seat. She managed to answer the Fastest Finger First question within 2.67 seconds. With this she became the only contestant of the season to answer the question in the least time. Big B was all praise for her and stated this is the season’s best timing.
In her introduction video, Priya Kour shared that she was born and brought up in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. She looks up to Mother Teresa and wishes to follow her path. Priya is the epitome of how one imagines the future to be. At such a young age, she is strong-willed and determined to be the change she wishes to see in society and this inspiration is coming from a 15-year-old. If she wins a huge amount, she wants to help her family fulfill their needs. Besides, she pursues to help the needy and wishes to donate to organizations that help the poor and specially-abled.
During their conversation about Kashmir, Priya shared that she saw Big B’s film Silsila which was shot there and he told her that he has shot few other films also there. They call it ‘Heaven On Earth’. She told Big B she doesn’t like the climate as it is too cold there.
While talking to Big B, Priya told him that unlike other places, Kashmir examinations take place in November due to the cold weather there. Mr Bachchan recalled his school days when he studied in Nainital. He revealed that even he is one of those kids who got promoted in November and that when he started his graduation, he had to wait till July for the session to begin.
Mr Bachchan was very impressed with Priya’s knowledge and he nicknamed her ‘Miss Samajhdaar’. Priya won 10,000 points and she will continue the game in the next episode. (ToI)
