The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 began with the roll-over contestant Ankush Sharma from Jammu and Kashmir. He opened up about being diagnosed with rickets during his childhood and the struggles that he has to face due to the same. In his video, Ankush even talked about his love life and shared that he wants to give a house to his parents and make them feel proud. He further shared how his father talked him through the struggles that he will have to face, being a vertically challenged person.

Host,Amitabh Bachchan appreciated Ankush for having the will power to live his life on his own terms with his disability. He also appealed to Ankush’s girlfriends’ mother to approve their marriage.

The contestant also revealed that he is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan and also a fan of Amitabh Bachchan, and his favourite movie is ‘Mohabbatein ‘. He further shared that he has watched the movie ‘Deewar’ more than fifty to innumerable times.
Ankush also said that he has learned a lot about style from Bigg Boss and romance from his favourite SRK. Big B also thanked Ankush for all the praiseworthy comments that he made about the star and further shared that he also enjoys watching SRK’s movies.

Ankush played well and took home prize money of Rs 25 lakh when he quit the game he was in a fix about the next question.

The question that he couldn’t answer was: “In the book “Q&A” by Vikas Swarup, what is the subject of the last question asked Ram Mohammad Thomas in the TV quiz show?”

The options were: (A) Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 29 (B) Mumtaz Mahal’s father (C) Three Musketeers (D) Costard, a Shakespeare character.
And (A) Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. was the correct answer.

On this, Amitabh Bachchan shared that the Academy Award-winning film Slumdog Millionaire ,starring Anil Kapoor, Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, was based on the book.

The next player to take the hot seat was Hemlata Pavagari, an NGO director from Pavagadh, Gujarat. She will continue to play the game in the next episode. ( TOI )
