SRINAGAR 02 Jun : Khyber Cement was honoured as the “Best Cement Brand of Jammu Kashmir” at the Jammu Kashmir Business Conclave 2026 held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar.
The conclave brought together entrepreneurs, industrialists and business leaders to recognise organisations contributing to the economic and industrial growth of Jammu and Kashmir. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah attended the event as the chief guest.
The award was presented by the Chief Minister and received on behalf of Khyber Cement by Manzoor Ahmad Mir and Wasim Ahmed Khan. The company was recognised for its contribution to infrastructure development, industrial progress, quality manufacturing and economic growth in the region.
Khyber Cement, one of the region’s prominent industrial enterprises, has built its presence across Jammu and Kashmir over several decades through its focus on quality and reliability. The company said it has also contributed to socio-economic development through initiatives in education, healthcare, youth empowerment, sports, community welfare and sustainable growth.
