KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir parts

Srinagar, March 08: According to the Chief Engineer, JKPDCL Kashmir, in order carry out commissioning of NIFPES System of various transformers of 160 MVA, 220/132 KV Transformer banks, Wussan, Safapora, Kangan, USHP-I &II, Lal Bazar, BAMK, Hazratbal, Ellahibagh, Lar-Tullmulla, Ajar, Aloosa, Gurez, Zakura, Power House and Nagbal feeders falling under 220/132 KV, 160 MVA, Transformer Bank-I, Alusteng and 220/132 KV, 160 MVA, Transformer Bank-II, Alusteng Grid Stations will be affected resulting in power shutdown in Wussan, Safapora, Kangan, Lal Bazar, BAMK, Hazratbal, Ellahibagh, Lar-Tullmulla, Ajar, Aloosa, Gurez, Zakura, Nagbal and adjoining areas from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 10 March, 2025 and 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 11 March, 2025.
