KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir Parts; check areas here

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out the dismantling of 11 mtr long PCC Pole near Shalteng Receiving Station and connecting of newly created dedicated 11 KV feeder for Unani Hospital, shutdown of 33KV Shariefabad HMT line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Zainakote, Shalteng & Bakshipora shall remain off while power supply to Zainakote, ICCC, Industrial, HMT, Shalteng, Mujgund, Bakshipora and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 16 September, 2025.

Also to facilitate in cutting down of Chinar Tree, shutdown of 33 KV Chadoora Panzan Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Panzan, Rangar shall remain off while power supply to Gadsathoo, Panzan, Lalgam, Rangar, Kathairgound and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 14 September, 2025.

Moreover as per a separate shutdown schedule issued by the office of Chief Engineer KPDCL, in order to carry out the necessary stabilization at Krankshivan Colony near Valley School Sopore, shutdown of 33 KV Amargarh Bandipora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Watlab, Tujjar, Dooru shall remain off while power supply to Watlab, Tujjar, Dooru and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM on 13 September, 2025.

According to the Chief Engineer, JKPTCL Kashmir, in order to carry out routine preventive maintenance works, shutdown of 33KV Alusteng-Zakoora Feeder and 33KV Alusteng-Ganderbal Feeder shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Umerhair, Alasteng, Nagbal, Gadoora, Tulbagh shall remain off while power supply to Ahmad Nagar, Umerhair, Buchpora, Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Shairpathri and adjoining areas will remain affected from 09.00 AM to 01.00 PM on 15 September, 2025.

Also in this connection, shutdown of 33KV Alusteng-Power House Feeder shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Power House, Manigam, Duderhama shall remain off while power supply to Beehama, Arampora, Arch, Nuner, Manigam, Duderhama, Malshaibagh, Wayil, Gutlibagh and adjoining areas will remain affected from 01.00 PM to 05.00 PM on 15 September, 2025.
