In the final of the HPL cricket tournament which was supported by SAAYA NGO played between Abu Bakar Stars and Iqbal Qalanders at Naseembagh Hostel ground, Abu Bakar Stars emerged as the winner by 6 wickets.
After winning the toss Iqbal Qalanders decided to bat first and made 48 runs in 8 overs.
Chasing the target Abu Bakar Stars easily chased the target and making the winners cup in their name. Mir Saleem of Abu Bakar Stars was declared man of the match for his wonderful all-around performance.
Hujat ul Ramzan was declared man of the series for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
Dean Students Welfare,KU and Provost Hostels Prof G.N.Khaki was the chief guest and distributed trophies prizes among the players. Wardens of MAK Boys Hostel and MA Boys Hostel Dr Javaid and hundreds of sports lovers were present on the occasion.
Mr. Hasnain Khawja from SAAYA NGO was also facilitated by the Chief Guest for his support to the tournament.
The tournament was coordinated by Mir Saleem, Rizwan ul Haq, and Muzamil Owais.
