Acting promptly in the murder case, Kulgam arrested the accused namely Ashfaq Ahmed Bohro, son of Manzoor Ahmed Bohro, resident of village Shurat in District Kulgam.

The accused on Tuesday hit the 35-year-old Mahmooda Akhtar wife of Muzaffar Ahmed Najjar on the head with a solid and sharp object, knocking her unconscious. After which she was shifted to district hospital where Doctors declared her brought dead.
DSP HQ Mr. G. M Bhat along with SHO Davinder Singh in a Press Conference at Police station Kulgam on Wednesday said that an FIR No 203/2020 U/S 302/IRP was registered at Police station Kulgam and the accused was arrested immediately after the committing the merciless act.
