KU’s Institute of Technology Holds Workshop on B.Tech Syllabus Revision

Srinagar, April 13: The Institute of Technology (IoT), University of Kashmir, on Monday organised a one-day preparatory workshop on syllabus revision aimed at updating and strengthening the curriculum of its B.Tech programmes.

The workshop was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nilofer Khan, who stressed the importance of aligning academic curricula with emerging industry trends and rapid technological advancements.

Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Shariefuddin Pirzada, highlighted the need for periodic curriculum reviews to sustain academic excellence, while Director IoT, Prof. M. Tariq Banday, emphasized innovation-driven learning in engineering education.

The event brought together faculty members and subject experts, who deliberated on making the B.Tech curriculum more dynamic, relevant, and industry-oriented.
