KYJA holds protest against Kamran’s arrest

“Our simple demand is that the NIA should come clean on charges leveled against Kamran. Chief Minister should also take up the issue with Home Minister who is currently in Kashmir,” they said.

Kashmir Young Journalists Association (KYJA) Sunday staged a sit-in at Press Enclave here against the arrest of photojournalist Kamran Yusuf by National Investigation Agency (NIA).

“Our simple demand is that the NIA should come clean on charges leveled against Kamran. Chief Minister should also take up the issue with Home Minister who is currently in Kashmir,” they said.

Kamran was arrested by the NIA on 5th September 5 and flown to Delhi where a court sent him on 10-day remand.
