A major cinematic tribute is set to unfold this winter as the multistarrer feature film “LAST SALUTE – The Saga of Sacrifice” begins filming in November 2025. The film stands as a monumental homage to the unyielding spirit, courage, and sacrifice of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, who have, for the past three decades, fought relentlessly against the dark age of inhumanity and terror.
Produced by Vardan Film Productions in collaboration with Reliance Entertainment, Last Salute is a deeply emotional yet thrilling narrative that captures the unseen struggles, personal battles, and supreme sacrifices of those who chose duty over life and humanity over fear.
Helmed by acclaimed Kashmiri filmmaker Imtiyaz Bhat, the film promises a gripping portrayal of truth and valor, blending realism with cinematic grandeur. Bringing his creative vision and production expertise to the project, Hussein Khan, a son of the soil and one of Kashmir’s most respected filmmakers, serves as the Line Producer and Creative Director.
Speaking about the film, Hussein Khan remarked, “Last Salute is not just a film — it’s a heartfelt tribute to the real heroes of Kashmir. It’s about their courage, their families, and their silent sacrifices that built the foundation of peace we often take for granted.”
The film’s stellar ensemble cast will be officially announced soon, featuring some of the most celebrated names from Indian cinema. Shot across real locations in Jammu and Kashmir, the project aims to deliver both authenticity and cinematic excellence, presenting a story that resonates with emotion, pride, and humanity.
