LeT Chief along with associate killed in gunfight

Srinagar, Sep 15, CNS:

 In a major setback to militant organization Lashkar-e-Toiba, its Chief Abu Ismail was killed along with an associate in Aarigam area of Nowgam on the outskirts of Srinagar on Thursday, police said.

     A police official said that government forces cordoned off the area after getting inputs about the presence of LeT Chief.

    “There was a brief exchange of fire in which Abu Ismail along with his associate was killed. Another slain militant was identified as Chotta Qasim, a resident of Pakistan. (CNS)
