A militant hailing from Kulgam district affiliated with The Resistance Front outfit, an offshoot of LeT aa per police was arrested by the security forces at KP road in neighbouring south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.

Quoting a senior Police officer, news agency reported that the militant Feroz Ahmad Zargar, 34, alias Kamraan, son of Ghulam Mohudin, a resident of Gratabal Qaimoh in Kulgam, was held by Police along with army and CRPF near Al Noor Masjid, KP Road.

Pertinently, his elder brother Majid Zargar was a top LeT Commander who was killed in 2017 at Arwani.

Further investigation into the case has been initiated in this regard, an official said.
