LG Sinha Assigns Additional Charge of IT, Public Grievances Departments to Saurabh Bhagat

Srinagar, June 3: The Lieutenant Governor on Wednesday assigned additional charge of the Information Technology and Public Grievances Department to senior IAS officer Saurabh Bhagat in addition to his existing responsibilities.

According to Government Order No. 1038-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated June 3, 2026, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Saurabh Bhagat, IAS (AGMUT: 2002), who is presently serving as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, shall also hold the charge of the posts of Administrative Secretary, Information Technology Department and Public Grievances Department until further orders.

The order states that the arrangement has been made in the interest of administration and will remain in force until further orders.

The order was issued by the General Administration Department under the directions of the Lieutenant Governor and signed by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, M. Raju.
