Srinagar, Oct 21: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have expressed deep sorrow over the tragic bus accident in Ramnagar area of Udhampur district that claimed two lives and left several others injured.
In a condolence message, LG Manoj Sinha said, “Distressed to learn about the loss of lives due to a tragic bus accident in Ramnagar, Udhampur. My condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured. I have directed the District Administration to provide all necessary assistance to the affected families and ensure the best possible treatment to those who have been injured in the accident.”
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has also expressed deep sorrow over the tragic passenger bus accident at Gulli Gala, Latti, in Ramnagar tehsil of Udhampur district, which claimed two lives and left several others injured.
The Chief Minister extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and directed the authorities to ensure the best possible medical care and assistance to the injured. The Chief Minister’s Office is in constant touch with the concerned authorities and is closely monitoring the situation, it said.
Pertinently, two persons including a 5-year-old girl were killed while as 16 others were injured in the bus accident.
