Srinagar, Dec 24 : People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday said that Kashmiri Pandits have been suffering for the past several months while the government is forcing them to stay in valley instead of solving thier issue.
“Kashmiri Pandits have suffered a lot and recently there have been many deaths. Now they are protesting in Jammu for their genuine demands but they are being directed to resume their duties in valley. This is completely unfair, the government should resolve their issues,” said PDP chief while speaking to reporters here at Jammu.
“For some time the government should have acceded to their demand so that they will also be satisfied,” she added.
