“Light Rain or Snow Expected at Higher Reaches of J&K Tonight”: MeT

Srinagar, Jan 30: The Meteorological Department Srinagar has predicted partly cloudy skies with a possibility of light rain or snow at isolated higher reaches towards the night of January 30.

For January 31, MeT predicted partly to generally cloudy skies with a possibility of light rain or snow at scattered places towards the evening or night.

February 1 is expected to be generally cloudy with a possibility of light rain or snow at scattered places towards the early morning, followed by improvement in the weather.

The weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy on February 2 and 3, with a possibility of light rain or snow at isolated places towards the evening of February 3.

However, from February 4, the valley is expected to witness light to moderate rain or snow at most places, followed by scattered rain or snow on February 5.

The Meteorological Department has advised tourists, travelers, and transporters to follow the administration’s and traffic advisory for safe travel.
