A man was killed after he was struck by lightening on Friday morning in Poonch district, officials said.

The deceased has been identified as Irshad Ahmed, son of Jalal Din of Satelaan village at Poonch Mandi.

Officials told the news agency that a man was at his home when natural lightening struck and he fell unconscious.

The man was taken to the hospital in the area where he was declared as brought dead, they said—(KNO)
