Srinagar, September 19 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Sheri -i Kashmir Stadium on Thursday to address a Mega public rally in Srinagar.
The youth of Jammu and Kashmir have suffered so much during the rule of these three families. But, now those young generations have started fighting against them.
“People of Jammu and Kashmir created history by voting in large numbers during the first phase of assembly elections in UT,” said PM Modi in Srinagar.
Schools that were burnt in Kashmir were part of hatred by these political parties. They did not establish any institutions. These parties for their own benefit destroyed the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Keeping Jammu and Kashmir out of terrorism is the promise of PM Modi. Won’t let the new generation be destroyed by the hand of these three political parties.
“The youth of Jammu and Kashmir have suffered so much during the rule of these three families. But, now those young generations have started fighting against them,” he said.
In last 5 years, Prime Minister gave admission to 50000 students who were deprived of education. 1.5 lac students are in primary school. 2.5 lac schools are being upgraded. AIIMS being established, 1100 new seats, 1600 new seats in para medical. Young generations are strong in BJP rule now.
He further said that , “Three families have destroyed Kashmiryat and democracy in Jammu and Kashmir. They don’t want any other to come forward and be a part of democracy. As they fear new people will challenge their families. What happened was people lost interest in democracy.”
“So much has changed in Kashmir as door to door campaigning is held till midnight. People now believe that the vote can be a strong democracy in Kashmir. Leaders like Er. Aijaz has challenged the three families of Kashmir”, PM said.
“Now we have a hustle bustle in Lal Chowk. Diwali and Eid are celebrated beautifully. Who did this work. It was done not by Modi but people of Jammu and Kashmir, ” he said .
