Indo- Pak armies exchanged the fire along the LoC in Hajipeer and Kamalkote sector of Uri on Friday afternoon.
A sub-Inspector of Border Security Force (BSF) was killed while two others sustained injuries during cross-border shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Hajipeer sector of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

An official told the news agency that Pakistani rangers resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along LoC in Uri this afternoon.
They said a BSF sub-Inspector identified as Rakesh Doval received head injury and later succumbed to his injuries while two others have also been injured during the cross-border firing. ( KNO )
