Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira.
In his message of felicitations, the Lt Governor has observed that Lord Mahavira was an apostle of truth and righteousness and his teachings of peace and non-violence is an inspiration for all.
He hoped that this occasion would strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, amity, harmony among the people and prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
