Weatherman has forecast mainly dry weather in next 24 hours while as most parts recorded a decrease in minimum temperature in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
A meteorological department official here said that no major weather activity was expected over the entire J&K till 3rd September although there is possibility of light rain over isolated places.
Srinagar received traces of rain, official said.

Regarding minimum temperature, the official said that Srinagar recorded a low of 16.2°C against 16.4°C on the previous night.
The temperature was 0.5°C above normal for the summer capital during this time of the year, he said.
