Srinagar, Dec 08 : The enforcement wing of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) department on Thursday said that market checking is being intensified every day and appealed to people to follow the rate lists being issued by the government.
Assistant Director, Enforcement department, wing Kashmir division, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that several teams of the department visit the market everyday to check the market rates and ensure adherence to the rate lists being issued by the department.
“The people too have a responsibility to adhere to the rate list by getting essentials on the set rates. People should inform the department in case anyone is found violating the norms,” he said.
He added that the rate list is being updated every day on website and social media platforms
