Srinagar 29.04.2018: Insisted by the players and parents Mehboob Ul Alam Sports organized Second Fitness Cum Training Session early in the morning on Sunday at Eidgarh. Besides dozens of players from Zoonimar, Hawal, Lalbazar and Eidgarh, good number of players hailing from other areas also participated in the event including from Kralpora Budgam and divided into three categories of sports. Keeping in view the positive response from the people of the area Mehboob Ul Alam sports decided to continue the programme in coming Sundays till commencement of month of Ramzan. Mr. Shabir Ahmad Shah, Chief Organizer said that only sports can be an alternate tool to tackle the negative usage of mobile phones and its associate drawbacks and congratulate Mehboob Ul Alam cricket team for their win against Srinagar Municipal Team SMC played on Saturday 28th Apil 2018.
In twenty five over game SMC scored 137 runs and was all out in 24 overs. Shafat of SMC made 59 runs. In reply Mehboob Ul Alam crossed the target in 16.4 overs in which Zahid made 45 in 21 balls and Younis 25 runs in 25 balls. Faizan of Mehboob-Ul-Alam took 3 wickets. Shabir Ahmad Shah, Management Head, congratulated the team on all-round performance.
