Mehbooba grieved over Reshi Bazar fire incident Directs Anantnag admn to provide all assistance to affected on war footing basis

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 22,2017

Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has expressed grief over the fire incident at Reshi Bazar, Anantnag in which more than 30 residential and business structure were gutted yesterday.

The Chief Minister has directed the Anantnag district administration to provide all necessary assistance to the affected owners of these structures on war footing basis in view of the approaching winters. In particular, she has directed the Anantnag Deputy Commissioner to ensure that alternative facilities for residing for the house owners are explored at the earliest and their proper rehabilitation is facilitated.

The Chief Minister has expressed sympathies with the affected families.
