Mehbooba Mufti Speaks to Punjab CM Over Reported Harassment of Kashmiri Mutton Dealers

Srinagar, June 23: PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday spoke with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann regarding reports that Kashmiri mutton dealers were allegedly being stopped and harassed by contractors in the name of the Cattle Fair Act at Madhopur in Punjab and the Shambhu border.

In a post on X, Mehbooba Mufti wrote, “Spoke with Punjab CM @BhagwantMann ji about Kashmir mutton dealers reportedly being stopped & harassed by contractors in the name of the Cattle Fare Act at Madhopur, Punjab & Shambhu border. He was kind enough to assure me of prompt action.”
