MeT predicts rain, snow in Jammu and Kashmir today

The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Sunday has forecast light rain and snow over few higher reaches in the Kashmir region late on the evening of December 8 and into the morning of December 9.

According to the advisory, the weather from December 8 to 9 will remain generally cloudy, with light rain expected in some areas of the plains and hilly regions of Jammu division, and light rain or snow over a few higher-altitude locations in Kashmir.

The forecast for December 10 and 11 indicates generally dry weather, while December 12 is expected to bring light snow to isolated higher reaches under cloudy skies. From December 13 to 17, dry weather is predicted.

Tourists, travelers, and transorters are advised to follow the traffic guidelines issued by the administration and traffic department.
