MeT predicts rain, snow in Kashmir on November 29-30

The Meteorological Department has predicted thelight rain or snow at scattered to fairly widespread places in Kashmir by the month’s end.

The forecast indicates partly cloudy weather from December 1 to 5. Despite the cloud cover, some areas in Kashmir experienced a slight improvement in minimum temperatures.

The weather is anticipated to remain generally cloudy and dry in the next 24 hours, with shallow to moderate fog likely persisting until November 28 in various places in the Kashmir division.

Srinagar recorded a low of 0.0°C today, slightly higher than the previous night’s -1.0°C. Pahalgam remained the coldest, with a low of -1.8°C, while Qazigund, Kokerng, Kupwara, and Gulmarg also reported varying temperatures compared to the previous night.(KNS).
