A 7 year-old boy was killed in a leopard attack in Wagoora area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday evening.

A relative of the minor told Rising Kashmir that the family was in orchards picking up pears when a leopard attacked the boy.

Police identified the victim as seven year old Ehsan Ahmad Shah.

“The leopard was roaming in the area for the last many days. Today when the minor was accompanying the family in the orchards, the leopard attacked him from the maize field and lifted the child,” he added.
