Congratulating people of Kashmir for achieving the distinction of being a tourist place with zero crime record against tourists, Hurriyat(M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Saturday said characteristic of Kashmiri hospitality has remained intact despite being exposed to decades of conflict.
Mirwaiz wrote on social networking site, Twitter: “Kudos! to people of #Kashmir that despite being exposed to brutalization for decades due to the conflict, their inherent characteristic of kindness & hospitality is intact! They have achieved the distinction of being a tourist place with zero crime record against visitors/tourists!”
Earlier, media reports had suggested Kashmir is the only tourist place with zero crime record against tourists.
