“Remembering with pain another massacre executed in the month of January by the Indian forces!25th January1990 more than 10,000 people were heading towards #Handwara chowk to protest the #GawKadalMassacre, when bullets were showered upon them,21 civilians were killed in cold blood!”, Mirwaiz wrote on twitter.

In another tweet, Mirwaiz remembered the victims of Wandhama massacre and said that Kashmir is witnessing massacres since last 30 years, while no one is held accountable. In his tweet Mirwaiz said : “While the wounds of this day were still fresh another massacre happened on this day 8 years later when 23 Kashmiri pandits in #Wandhama were gunned down by unknown assailants, Like all massacres that #Kashmir is witnessing since last 30 years no one was held accountable & punished,” Mirwaiz said in an other tweet.
