During his visit, Mirwaiz inspected various aspects of the restoration and interacted with those involved in the project. Emphasising the importance of preserving the mosque’s heritage, he urged the Waqf authorities to ensure that all renovation efforts strictly adhere to the original architectural style of the mosque.

Mirwaiz stated that every mosque possesses its own distinct architectural identity and historical character, which must be preserved with utmost care. He stressed that any renovation should aim at conservation rather than alteration, so that the legacy and authenticity of such historic places of worship remain intact for future generations.
