The family of a missing Ph.D. scholar yet again today staged a protest seeking his whereabouts.
The protesters mostly women said that they are sure that Basit Hilal as is being claimed by police has not joined militancy.
Hilal went missing last month while he was on trekking with his 5 other friends in Ganderbal after which his family lodged his missing report.

Soon after he went, his family staged protests for several days after which Jammu and Kashmir police claimed that he had joined Hizb.
However the family has been rejecting claims of police and seek his whereabouts.
