Five kashmiri drivers who were in apple laden trucks travelling to Mumbai via Gujarat who had lost their contacts with families have been traced.
SSP Ganderbal Khalil Poswal said that all truck drivers all been traced and they are safe and proceedings towards their destination.
All Five truck drivers from Ganderbal who had lost contact with their families for quite some time, have been tracked by Ganderbal police and found safe .They were halted for routine security checking on Ahmedabad Expressway and are safely proceeding towards their destination, he said.
Earlier their family members said there have lost contact with the five since yesterday evening. “Their phones have been switched off since.”
They added that five were travelling in two trucks bearing the registration number JK03G 4958 and JK13 F- 2249 and were on the way to Mumbai through Gujrat when they lost contact.
Missing persons were identified as Irshad Ahmed Tantray so of Mohammed Yusuf Tantray resident of Manigam, Ganderbal, Sheikh Mueen resident of Yaarmuqam Ganderbal, Raja Rameez resident of Wayil, Rayees Ahmed Arhama Ganderbal, Irfan Chopan, Yarmuaqm Ganderbal all aged in their mid-20’s.
Meanwhile families have thanked police for helping in tracing them.
