MLA Langate calls on Chief Wildlife Warden JK to discuss growing wild animal attacks

In view of growing wild animal attacks in various areas of Langate constituency, MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed met Chief Wildlife Warden J&K Sarvesh Rai IFS here in Jammu to discuss the situation.

While highlighting the recent attacks in Langate, which claimed the life of a toddler and several other injured, MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed urged the Chief Wildlife Warden to use their men & machinery to curb the Wildlife attacks to save properties & precious lives.

In a statement to media, Sheikh Khursheed said that the Chief Wildlife Warden J&K, Sarvesh Rai assured that the department will establish a Control Room in the area to deal with the situation. He also assured that soon in near future a rescue center will be established in the area, Sheikh Khursheed said.

Sheikh Khursheed also discussed the shortage of men power of the department in the area, lack of modern equipments & mobile vans, on which the Chief Ward promised to address the concern on priority basis.

He also discussed the issue’s of daily wagers of Wildlife department.Sheikh Khursheed thanked the Chief Warden Wildlife Department J&K for his patient hearing. He also urged people to stay cautious while venturing out in near by fields and follow Wildlife advisories.
