Monsoon Session: Speaker Om Birla holds all party meeting after Lok Sabha adjourned till 2 pm

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Tuesday held a meeting with all party leaders after the Lower House was adjourned for the fourth straight day in the ongoing Monsoon Session, amid uproar in the Opposition benches over the Manipur situation.

The Speaker convened the meeting after the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm on Tuesday. Proceedings in the Lower House were suspended till 2 pm as the Opposition members continued to raise slogans demanding a discussion on Manipur and a statement from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.(ANI)
